Ghana was the first African country to gain independence from foreign colonial rule. In 1957, under the leadership of the Kwame Nkrumah, the country became the first self-governing African nation.

Overview

This Tour offers you 5 days of  exploring cultures and part of black African history in Ghana. This Tour starts and ends in Accra the Ghanian capital city. During this tour you will  explore the city of Accra prior to visitng historical sites and  Kamusi villages to learn their culture. And the n, you will head to the Cape Coast Castle which was built in 1555 by the Portuguese to help with the trade between the two countries, but it ended up with being used for trading Ghanian slaves.

You will proceed with visiting the Boti falls, one of the most beautiful and highly visited natural wonders in Eastern Ghana. You will also spend some time at the lake Volta in the Volta Region of Ghana and is home to several natural landscapes like mountains, waterfalls and lakes.

The Tour will take you to view the Aburi Botanical Gardens which is one of the most attractive destinations in Ghana. The gardens were open to the public back in 1890 and cover over 160 acres of land. The tour will continue to the coastline of Ghana which is home to several white sandy beaches, but the most popular one is Labadi Beach, AKA La Pleasure Beach.
