Seychelles
The Seychelles is a country and archipelagic state made of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean. Its capital and largest city, Victoria, is 1,500 kilometres (800 nautical miles) east of mainland Africa. Nearby island countries of Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mayotte, Réunion to the south, and Maldives.
Seychelles is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites run by the Seychelles Islands Foundation. They are the atoll of Aldabra, which is the world’s largest raised coral atoll and also the Vallée de Mai on Praslin island, billed as the original site of the Garden of Eden.
It has numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises. Seychelles may have some of most beautiful beaches on the planet. It has amazing biodiversity, volcanic islands’ chain, and marine life like nowhere else in the world.
